Our Rates

Our Private Tours are two hours long and can be booked well in advance to reserve the entire bike.
No minimum number of riders needed. Maximum of 14 people.

Private Tours: Sunday – Thursday: $300* for the entire bike

Private Tours: Friday – Saturday $350* for the entire bike

Our Private Tours are eligible to become Public Tours upon request if the tour date is less than one week away and a Private Tour for the entire bike hasn’t been reserved yet. Our Public Tours are booked by the seat for a two hour tour if the following criteria have been met:

Your group must have at least eight people already lined up before we can create a Public Tour. A Public Tour won’t go out with less than 8 people so to avoid the tour being cancelled, we won’t create a Public Tour unless you already have at least 8 people already lined up. 14 people maximum.

Public Tours: Monday – Sunday $35* per seat

* Note: The pricing above does NOT include taxes and fees. Exact totals will be clearly listed when booking.

Monday – Friday: Tours Depart at 5:30pm and 8pm

Saturday – Sunday: Tours Depart at 12:30pm, 3pm, 5:30pm and 8pm

Our tours during holidays and special events Downtown run higher. See our Booking Calendar for more details.

They’re harder to staff and frankly, there are more headaches to deal with, so we have to charge more.

Even at these higher rates, these tours still sell out the fastest, so don’t delay if you’re wanting to book a tour on St Patrick’s Day, Cinco De Mayo, Halloween, Oktoberfest, Taste of SoMO, etc.

If you’re in charge of event planning in Springfield MO, The Trolley Bike is also available to rent for custom tours outside of Downtown as well as outside of our normal hours of operation. Please email [email protected] for any special requests.

Note that The Trolley Bike is only allowed to operate on streets with a speed limit of 25 MPH or less. We can cross (with a stoplight) streets with a higher speed limit, but can’t travel down them. Also, steep hills can be tough to climb, even with our electric assist. The flatter the better.

There will be additional fees for transporting The Trolley Bike to a different location and there may be a requirement to book it for a longer period of time depending on the distance from Downtown. Contact us for more details.

All tours must be paid by credit card in advance. Options include Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

We reserve the right to charge the credit card of the Booking Rider following the tour if necessary. Any damages to The Trolley Bike during your tour will result in the Booking Rider being charged for the cost of the repairs.

Inappropriate behavior will result in early termination of your tour without refund. Examples include, but are not limited to extreme intoxication, excessive noise, taking open containers on to or off of The Trolley Bike, providing alcohol to non-passengers and littering.

See The Rules for more information.

A 15% gratuity will be added to any corporate tours or other reservations where The Booking Rider isn’t expecting their guests to reimburse them or tip The Conductor.

For our standard tours, tips are greatly appreciated and are not included as part of your tour. Your Conductor’s job is keeping you safe and making sure your group has a great experience. If you had a blast, please tell them with cash!
